Data Center and AI Infrastructure -- Nodal Power Systems
Data Center and AI Infrastructure

Power generation and energy center campuses, built together.

Modern AI workloads need power before they need anything else. Nodal Power Systems is developing dispatchable generation and co-located data center infrastructure positioned to bridge the gap between power supply and AI deployment timelines.

The problem we solve

Most power producers can't move at AI speed.
Most data center developers can't secure power.

Hyperscalers, AI compute providers, and the data center industry are racing to secure dispatchable, sited-flexible generation in regions with available land, favorable regulatory environments, and access to transmission.

Conventional grid solutions don't match AI deployment timelines. Utility-scale generation projects wait years in interconnection queues. Transmission expansion moves on decade-long timelines. Meanwhile, AI compute demand is accelerating now.

Nodal Power Systems is positioned to bridge that gap. We develop and operate the power generation. We collaborate with experienced data center developers and AI compute providers on the building and IT infrastructure. One team controls the power side from origination through long-term operations.

Our capabilities

What we bring to the table.

Our development model is built for the way energy and data center infrastructure actually need to work together.

01
Power generation

A pipeline of over 350 megawatts of natural gas and landfill gas-to-energy projects in development across the Intermountain West and California — ten projects targeting commercial operation from Q4 2026 through 2030.

02
Energy center campuses

We are pursuing co-located data center infrastructure at select project sites, where Nodal supplies the power and a customer or partner operates the IT infrastructure inside. Our forward revenue model includes leasing adjacent property and developing co-located data center infrastructure.

03
Patented architecture

Four issued U.S. patents cover the optimization of power generation in conjunction with on-site fuel sources and co-located data centers. We built and operated this architecture at commercial scale at our former Four Peaks and Wasatch projects, validating the dual-use model an AI energy center campus requires.

04
Speed to power

Smaller, project-led development with contracted offtake delivers a faster path to operating capacity than utility-scale projects waiting in multi-year interconnection queues. Our pipeline targets first commercial operation in late 2026.

05
Multi-resource platform

We are currently developing landfill gas, natural gas, and microgrid projects, with anticipated expansion into solar, battery storage, gas storage, and transmission in the future. We match the right resource to the right site rather than being locked into one technology.

06
Validated at scale

We built and operated the Wasatch off-grid project in Utah from greenfield to commercial operation, including a 280 kW pilot with Mara Holdings (NASDAQ: MARA) that achieved approximately 92% uptime, proving the dual-use architecture at commercial scale.

Partnership model

How we work with partners.

Nodal's model is partnership-driven. We are open to a range of structures depending on your needs and timeline.

Structure
Ground leases

We can lease land adjacent to our generation projects to data center developers or AI compute providers who want to site their own facilities next to a secured power source.

Structure
Build-to-suit

We develop and deliver a purpose-built energy center campus to a partner's specifications, combining power generation with the physical infrastructure for IT deployment.

Structure
Joint development

We collaborate with data center developers and AI compute providers from early project origination, aligning power development timelines with compute deployment needs.

Structure
Offtake arrangements

Data center operators and large industrial customers can secure long-term power supply from our projects through direct offtake agreements, supported by our relationships with Constellation Energy and Tenaska Power Services.

Intellectual property

Patented architecture for power generation and co-located data centers.

Our four issued U.S. patents protect the integration of dispatchable power generation with on-site fuel sources and co-located data centers, including machine-learning-based load optimization, dynamic sub-load switching, and dispatchable power to the grid based on grid conditions. One additional patent is pending.
